Have you ever thought that it would be nice to have a tool that would allow you to download YouTube videos and save them on your computer?

As for me, I thought about such a tool many times and was even ready to buy such a tool if only it met the following criteria: it should be powerful enough to save any YouTube video; it should be able to download few files simultaneously; it should not cost 100 dollars.
Well, imagine my surprise when I found out that such a tool is already available on the net ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE!
Now, let’s have a closer look at this wonderful program. Its name is SaveTubeVideo and it comes in a form of a browser add-on. The installation file can be downloaded from its homepage - http://www.savetubevideo.com/.
It doesn’t weight much – only about 1,3 MBs. Then, you simply launch the installation and follow the standard installation procedure. After that, your browser’s toolbar will have two new buttons "Save video" and "Show status".
The first one allows you to download any YouTube video that is currently being played in your browser window, while the second one – to track the status of your downloads. Now about other features of the program.
It really can resume broken downloads in case the connection has been lost. That’s the first point why I liked it. The second one is the fact that it supports multiple concurrent downloads which means that I can download my favorite singer’s clip and one of today’s most popular videos at the same time. SaveTubeVideo can save videos in two most popular formats such as .flv and .avi.
But, the most important thing is still ahead. Personally, I was ready to pay, let’s say, up to USD 50 for such a program. But, there was no sign I should pay a cent.
When I downloaded the installation file, installed the program and launched the browser I was ready to see some sort of "Trial version of the program". Limited functionality.
To proceed – buy the program message. But, there were no such messages, no licenses, no irritating stamps on video and so on.
That proves what the site says – SaveTubeVideo is really, totally, absolutely free. However, it has an advanced version of it, called SaveTubeVideo & Burn. It allows you not only to save the video on your PC but also to burn it to any CD/DVD/ HD DVD/BLU-RAY.
SaveTubeVideo & Burn can be purchased only for USD 7.95 from the same site. I would highly recommend the SaveTubeVideo to anyone who would like to have a powerful and easy-to-use tool for YouTube video downloading.
